The Mac Chronicles
MacJournal

I wanted to find a killer app for my Lovely Wife in return for her being such a good sport about all of this.
She’s an avid journaller, using everything from Moleskine notebooks and vintage Parker 51s to word processors for this purpose.
However, using a word processor for journalling is problematic; despite the best of intentions, the end result is a bunch of scattered documents. What’s really required to do this right is a targeted application.
Some quick investigation turned up MacJournal, an ideal application for this purpose. Some of the many features of this application are:
- Supports multiple journals
- An AES encryption option for the paranoid
- great full-screen editing mode to eliminate distraction
- Integrated search
- Integrated audio and graphic capability
- Publishes to blogs, complete with remote attachment storage
My wife really likes MacJournal, and I’m using it to publish this blog. Worth a serious look; $34.95 shareware.
