Don McAllister produces ScreenCastsOnline, Mac-specific video tutorials.

These are extremely well-produced, informative tutorials, with a wealth of information available. Tutorials can be viewed directly from Don’s site, or via automatic iTunes subscription. A number of free tutorials are available to evaluate the quality of the service.

I find this to be a great way to get started with the Mac, and I’ve benefitted many times from the tutorials, for example, those on RapidWeaver, which I use to maintain this site.

Here’s a tip: more often than not, at the end of a software tutorial, the screencast will contain a coupon code for a discount on the software reviewed. This tends to quickly recoup the very reasonable subscription cost.
